Mario Cafaro leads MSA’s Information Technology Systems & Services (ITSS) division. Mario is responsible for MSA’s IT infrastructure, security efforts and governance. He drives innovation for the business and provides technology support to all MSA divisions. He also leads various corporate initiatives and is a strategic thought leader focused on MSA’s continued success.
Since 1999, Mario has held various roles within ITSS. His first role was an Application Help Desk team member and progressed through the ranks to his current role as SVP. Mario oversees MSA’s state-of-the-art data centers and disaster recovery services to our clients. He and his team provided critical support throughout the pandemic. MSA’s seamless conversion to a hybrid work environment was due to the quick and efficient efforts of Mario and his team.
Mario earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Information Systems Management- all from Duquesne University. He is a proud father of two, and lives with his lovely wife in an eastern suburb of Pittsburgh.
