Joe became MSA’s President in 2020. Together with the companies, 500+ associates across the globe, he is focused on continuing MSA’s legacy as a trusted partner across multiple industries and accelerating innovation through technology and analytics.
Joe has worked across MSA’s Divisional Leadership team to sharpen the company’s strategic focus on high-growth opportunities for our clients. He has supported the company’s innovation efforts to bring new products even faster to market. Joe is actively engaged with the team in exploring untapped markets, new technologies and enjoys manipulating data sets to see what insights can be gleaned from disparate sources.
Prior to joining MSA in 1989, Joe held various positions but most notably was a perfume salesman. He used data and analytics to quickly grow his business and was recognized as a top salesman. Joe knew that data was his passion so he joined MSA to further his knowledge and experience working with data. Joe started as an analyst, manipulating data and creating client data feeds. From the mid-90’s to early 2000’s, Joe managed several consumer market research projects both survey and diary panel research. He then focused his efforts on direct marketing and the integration of data sources to develop direct marketing models. During this time, he developed creative solutions and lead successful analytical projects with dozens of clients. Joe continued to find ways to get involved across various business verticals and considers these years very important as they expanded his learning and experience across MSA’s business units.
Joe resides in the suburbs of Pittsburgh with his wife and extended family of four horses, two rescue cats and two rescue shar-pei puppies. Their children are grown but enjoy family camping trips across the US.
