Nearly 20 years ago MSA created its @media™ division to provide software and managed services to cable networks, radio stations, broadcasters and advertising agencies in need of an e-commerce solution. Successful implementations have helped over 60% of the national cable market deliver better service to advertisers. They also see faster invoice payments, fewer unresolved units and increased agency buys. @media offers turn-key EDI solutions for cable networks regardless of which traffic and billing system is used. Our system can read, translate and transmit invoice and deal data to advertising agencies. We also offer solutions for the advertising agencies, in which data can be received from the networks and translated into a format readable by the agency system. We can identify any validation errors keeping data from transmitting and will communicate that to your team. Troubleshooting and resolution assistance is also provided. Once files are transmitted, @media tracks their status to ensure the data has been picked up by the recipient’s system. The system can also load confirmations received from the advertising agency vendors and updates the document status internally. This is offered as both a software solution called EDI Coordinator™ and also as a fully supported EDI service through our @media EDI Service Bureau. If a network is unable to produce flat files for inventory, our @media Deal application can load output files from many proposal systems or Excel spreadsheets, or gives users the ability to manually enter deal information for EDI flat file creation. Flat files are then processed by our @media EDI Service Bureau. @media Deal can handle all of your package header information, encryption and offers real-time validation of your files.
