MSA Sports Celebrates 15th Season of WPIAL HS Sports

MSA Sports® Celebrates 15th Season of WPIAL High School Sports with the Kick-Off of the 2015-2016 School Year

Pittsburgh, PA – July 30, 2015 – MSA Sports is excited to be celebrating its 15th season of high school sports coverage, bringing live game-day action to WPIAL (Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League) fans throughout the world. The 2015-2016 football season officially kicks off in a few short weeks on September 4. Jim Collins, Assistant to the Executive Director of WPIAL, shares, “The MSA Sports Network has been the official network of WPIAL since their beginning in 2001-02. WPIAL is proud to be a partner of the MSA Sports Network. Their coverage of all 27 WPIAL championships is most appreciated by the League. We look forward to a continued partnership with MSA for many years to come.”
MSA Sports Station Manager Don Rebel states, “Our main objective at MSA Sports is to provide a means for everyone to enjoy their local Western PA high school game – no matter where they are – in real time.”
Live video coverage will once again be available to all sports fans via the MSA Sports website. Weekly matchups will showcase teams across all four WPIAL classifications. The first six weeks of this season’s MSA Sports High School Football “Game of the Week” are listed below:
September 4 – Pittsburgh Central Catholic vs. Bethel Park
September 11 – West Allegheny vs. Central Valley
September 18 – Greensburg Central Catholic vs. Clairton
September 25 – Armstrong vs. Hampton
October 2 – Pine Richland vs. North Hills
October 9 – Shady Side Academy vs. Apollo-Ridge
